- Perform all work
in "Project Documents" that saves all settings associated
with the project, including source & generated imagery. Thus
there is only a single file to manage as opposed to dozens of files.

interface steps the user through the creation process vie "progressive
disclosure". You must finish all steps of the current task before
proceeding to the next.
- Support for "Stationery
Templates" which record all customized settings in a template file

- A "master
orientation" can be specified. Any node added to scene will be
aligned to that.
- Full control over
scene boundaries for creating a grid and assigning a scale.
- Built-in "background"
editor allows you to create floor plans or other guides for your scene.
- Add any number
of cylindrical * panoramic movies and/or object movies to your scene. Also supports static images
as well as tradition "linear" QuickTime movies to be added
as nodes.
- Drag-n-drop nodes
onto the scene (Mac only).

- Create uni-
or bi- directional links by "drawing" from one node to
another.
- Automatically
creates hot spots in nodes when a link is draw.
- "Preview"
a node by invoking the "Node Browser". Here you can:
Change properties of the node such as name & comment.
- Adjust automatically
generated hot spots position, size and shape or create new hot spots
manually, including URL hot spots.
- View each node
as a QTVR movie and test the links _without_ having to generate
the scene.
- Interactively
designate entry angles for hot spots by simply "walking"
through the scene.
- Nodes can
optionally be re-compressed when generating the final scene.
This facilitates creating nodes at a high resolution and downsampling
based on the intended target (Web, CD, etc.). Compression method
and quality can be independently assigned for the four different
media types: panoramas, objects, stills and linear movies.
- QTVR movies
are generated quickly with a single mouse click. Once generated,
the following settings may be interactively and instantly modified.
- Movie playback
size
- Text annotations
for name, copyright and description which are embedded in the
movie.
- Imaging properties
for panoramas such as static/motion quality and correction level.
- Playback hints
such as preload and cache settings.
- Final QTVR
movie size is displayed in the project document so you can fine
tune to meet your size budget without having to leave the environment.
- Automatically
creates "fast-start" movies.
