• What is the advantage of enabling the Dual Resolution check box in the Compress Panel?
Enabling this option creates a second video track in the QuickTime VR movie that contains a low resolution rendering of the panoramic image. The low-resolution video track is 25% the size of the standard video track. The purpose of a low-resolution video track is to allow the QuickTime VR movie to be played in low memory conditions. The QuickTime VR media handler will always attempt to use the high-resolution (standard) video track. If it cannot do this because memory is low, it will attempt to load and display the low-resolution panorama.
