• How can I find out what the focal length of my lens is?
This information is usually found in your camera documentation or users manual under specifications. It will list the 35 mm equivalent of the lens on your digital camera. If you are using a digital SLR, it may have a lens conversion factor of 1.5 or more. If you are using an 18 mm to 55 mm lens, you would have to multiply the focal length of your lens you will be using times the conversion factor. So if you were going to use the widest focal length, 18 mm times 1.5 would give you a 35 mm equivalent of 27 mm. Then follow the "How many shots..." table located on this page to find out the number of recommended images to capture.
