• How many shots do I need to capture to create my panorama?
There are a couple of things to remember when taking panoramic images.

First, a rectilinearly corrected lens should be used to provide a minimum of distortion.
Secondly, the wider the field of view of the lens the fewer the number of shots needed.
As a rule of thumb this shot guide will help you in determining how many shots to take to create a panorama.

    Focal Length (35mm equivalent)

    14 - 15mm - 10 images - 36 degrees
    18 - 20mm - 12 images - 30 degrees
    20 - 24mm - 14 images - 25.7 degrees
    27 - 32mm - 16 images - 22.5 degrees
